The decomposition temperature of ADCA can be decreased by adding initiator. ADCA initiators usually use oxides and salts of the second and third group Metals (Zinc and calcium) in the periodic system. Initiator is zinc stearate, Calcium stearate, Calcium stearate and modified CTP thermal stabilizer. In addition, the initiating properties of polyvinyl chloride as initiator were also studied. PVC is also used for CTP modification. In the dehydrochlorination of crude PVC, hydrogen chloride is released. It can enhance the decomposition of Adca to some extent.
